Consider a Walnut

Extracted from Cheng Min's children day's card:

I am common-looking, not attractive and certainly of no monetary value.
I am small.
My growth is limited by the hard shell that surrounds me.

Break me open.
You will discover how I've grown to fill every nook and space of the shell.
Given these limitations, I have achieved my full potential growth.

I count myself blessed to be a walnut.
As I am able to blossom and bloom in every space of life that is given to me.

Take heart, my friend. If I (a walnut) can do it, so can you...
